WALK OFF THE WAR

hikers_outside.jpg

August 6, 2013

This event was a huge succes. The hiking veterans were welcomed
coming off the trail at the Junction of Routes 11/30. There were six that
would make it to our Post. They were warmly greeted by our veterans
and  treated to a spaghetti supper provided by our Ladies
Auxialiary. Each got up to speak about their time in the service and
to answer any questions from the guests. They expressed their appreciation for the

Post donations and for individual donations made for their cause.

Many thanks to those who worked in the hot kitchen.
